In the liner notes to his new album, Jeremy Pelt, The Artist, he asks a key question: What qualities must a musician have before she or he is truly considered an artist? The focal point of Pelt's new album is the five-part Rodin Suite, consisting of songs directly inspired by the sculptures of Auguste Rodin. Pelt frequently has communed with Rodin's work at the Musée Rodin in Paris.
